Olafur Eliasson

This Danish artist has worked a lot with large scale installations which uses many different effects to enhance the experience of viewing the artwork. Most notably would be the weather project, a massive installation located at the Tate which featured large disc made out of hundreds of lamp emitting a yellow light, like the sun. The air in the room was filled with a mist produces by air humidifers and the roof was covered in a large mirror. This installation reportedly attracted over 2 million visitors many who returned multiple times.
